A little bit about us when we got married...

Louie, son of Louie & Linda, and older brother of Leticia was born and raised in beautiful San Diego, CA where he surfed and indulged in the most amazing Mexican food this side of the border. He received his 1st drum set at age 5, but didn’t get serious till age 10 where he went on to be selected one of three top drummers in all 180 elementary schools in San Diego to perform in the student honor band. At age 15 he began to play professionally at a festival called Jesus Northwest; he did this for 9 years. He was asked to join a band called Audio Adrenaline and even audition for DC Talk, he however turned those down to pursue his career with Appleseed Cast, formerly known as Sheol Vine where he toured 10 months out of the year and was featured on MTV. In 1997 he went on to join Plankeye, he continued to tour the US and Europe until the band parted ways in 2001; after which he attended and graduated from Los Angeles Music Academy, where he studied percussion with world renowned drummers. In January 2005 Louie moved to College Station, TX where he now resides and attends Grace Bible Church and plays drums every Sunday morning on the worship team. It was here he met the woman he would promise to love, cherish and grow old with, Rebecca Weikel.

Rebecca was raised in Idaho where her parents, Wayne and Nancy, and two older siblings, Robert and Wava, still live. In Idaho, she was very active and spent much of her time outdoors and riding horses. Rebecca performed with a youth drill team, the Eh-Capa Bareback Riders, for 9 years and won the honor being Queen in 2001. In 2002 she graduated from Northwest Nazarene University where she played varsity fastpitch softball and earned a bachelors of science degree in chemistry. That same year she moved to College Station, TX where she obtained her masters degree in physical organic chemistry at Texas A&M University. Rebecca enjoys spending her spare time outdoors, traveling, relaxing in coffee shops, and reading. She is also a member of the Aggie Christian Grads and Grace Bible Church. Rebecca looks forward to starting her life  Louie.
